Recognising the characteristics of vulnerability
Some of our customers may need additional support in making decisions or rely on others to make some decisions on their behalf.
This may be because their ability to manage their money or represent their needs is permanently or temporarily impaired.
Where a third party is supporting our customers, we should use IDEA to help us recognise what vulnerabilities our customer is experiencing.
By being flexible and enabling third parties to support our customers, we can ensure they continue to get good outcomes.
